These 62mm 93a wheels are designed specifically for a faster riding style at the skatepark, bowl and pump track. These wheels will work with any brand of Surfskate Trucks and Surfskate Bearings.
Surfskate Love is the only wheel designed explicitly for surfskating! Every single aspect of this wheel (the curvature at the edges, the bearing offset, the width of the contact patch, the urethane formula) are all specifically designed with pumping and carving motion of a surfskate in mind.
Most complete Surfskates ship with larger and softer wheels between 65-70mm and 78a-83a durometer. Those types of wheels are great all-around wheels working especially well for riding streets, parking lots, and bike lanes. However stock surfskate wheels are typically not ideal for the skatepark.
In a skatepark environment you can generally count on a smoother surface, a soft wheel can feel sluggish, this 93a duromet wheel gives you more speed while still being comfortable. A large wheel increases the height and weight of your board. This smaller and lighter wheel keeps you closer to the ground with a lower center of gravity allowing you and your board the freedom to be both more nimble and aggressive.
