What an unbelievable day in Carlsbad! Plan B Founders Danny Way and Colin McKay gathered their legendary skate team to come out and put on absolute shred fest to help Status Skateshop celebrate it’s brand new home. Thanks to the folks at OC Ramps a full-on skatepark emerged and Carlsbad locals were treated to the absolute top skateboarding talent on the planet.
Fresh off filming for the Plan B Code Video it was clear the team was at the top of their game. The sense of camaraderie was palpable as these pro skaters dropped banger after banger pushing each other and lighting up the crowd. Fans of all ages were thrilled to see these guys up close and personal. Team members Chris Joslin, PJ Ladd, Trevor McClung, Tommy Fynn, Pat Duffy, Sean Sheffey and the young phenom Kristion Jordan left it all behind in an epic afternoon session.
True to form the team wrapped up the day by meeting with their fans. It took well over an hour, but every single fan was able to meet the team members, grab a free team signed poster or have their own deck signed. The team took dozens of photos with their fans. As amazing as they are a skaters, it was very clear this team puts their fans first, it was a first class display of mutual gratitude.
